Harrison's First Day of CDO!

Harrison's first day of school outfit. So handsome!

Harrison and Charlotte playing trains. They are great friends!

Harrison checking out a little girl who is new to the class this year.

Harrison started back to Children's Day Out (CDO) today! Miss Jessica said he had a great day, full of laughing, playing and even a little dancing!  Trace and I are so thankful for Harrison's CDO teachers who work hard to plan meaningful, fun and safe activities for him!  Posted are a few pictures from his day. Enjoy!

Last Sunday, Harrison and Jackson had Adalyn and Braydon over to play! As you can see from the pictures, all had a wonderful time!

Tuckered-out Toddler

Tonight I went in Harrison's room to check on him just like I always do, and this is how I found him!  He was snoring! Sweet baby must have been exhausted.  I tried to uncover his face but he just covered himself back up.

hmm...

Anyone know how I can get load a picture into the frame on my header? I really like the way the header looks but that frame should be filled! Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated!

Cowboy!

Harrison loves wearing his cowboy boots! They are still 5 sizes to big, but that doesn't stop him from playing  a little golf in the house! I definitely see golf lessons in his future.  Like his outfit? He picked it out himself. Such a proud toddler!

Parenting Solo

This weekend was the first time Trace left me alone overnight with the boys.  I must admit that it was much different! And to be honest, it was tough! I think mostly because Harrison wasn't feeling well so our activities were limited.  I think everyone can agree that a grumpy toddler isn't much fun, bless his sweet heart.  He seems to be feeling better though, just missing daddy. Jackson was great, but it takes more patience to balance two babies on your own.

Even though the weekend was long, and I'm exhausted, I know God was reminding me how blessed I am to have such a helpful husband! I can't imagine parenting without him. Sometimes I know I don't give him enough credit.  He is WONDERFUL and fully understands his role as a parent.  Having him away for the weekend helps me to remember that parenting really is a team effort and two are always better than one.

This weekend was also a good reminder of some advice a friend shared with me at Bible study.  We shouldn't wish time away with our children...."Only 2 more hours til bed time."  I admit that I am guilty of wishing time away when really I should be thankful for every moment I have with my boys.
